Description/Interesting Notes: An unusual old time example of this rare platinum arsenide from the type locale - with native gold!!! This specimen hosts some scattered crystals of brilliant, silvery metallic sperrylite in association with numerous areas of bright native gold distributed throughout the matrix!!! There is also some chalcopyrite and likely other related sulfides in association as well!!! The sperrylite crystals range in size up to 4mm!!! One of the sperrylite crystals is complete and undamaged and there is also a partial, skeletal crystal that is actually intergrown with some native gold (visible upon close inspection with a loupe or scope)!!! There is signficantly more gold visible in person and upon close inspection with a loupe or scope!!! Examples containing both sperrylite and native gold are quite scarce from this locale!!! Simply incredible, old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
