Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare platinum bearing species from the type locality in Canada!!! This specimen hosts a pair of brilliantly metallic crystals of sperrylite in matrix!!! The crystals are sharp and undamged!!! The crystals have sharp, brilliantly metallic faces with some highly complex modifications!!! Usually the sperrylite crystals from this locality are submillimeter in size, however these crystals measure up to over 2.5mm!!! Often these Vermillion Mine specimens' crystals are embedded in the matrix, however this specimen hosts crystals that are prominently perched on the matrix!!! Simply a fantastic type-locality example of this rare platinum-bearing species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
