Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of this rare platinum-bearing species from the type locality!!! Usually these specimens are found as very tiny, submillimeter crystals embedded in matrix - however this significant specimen hosts a prominently perched crystal that measures an impressive 3.25mm!!! This specimen consists of a small amount of massive golden chalcopyrite matrix that hosts a complex cubic crystal of brilliant, mirror-bright sperrylite!!! The sperrylite crystal has some complex, stepped faces and some curiously curved modified edges as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Geological Survey of Canada - National Mineral Collection with Ansell Collection notation!!!
