Description/Interesting Notes: An outstanding, old time example of this rare platinum bearing species from the type locale in Canada!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, brilliantly metallic crystal of sperrylite prominently perched on matrix in association with chalcopyrite, an unidentified silver-metallic mineral, and and unidentified green mineral!!! The sperrylite crystal has sharp cubic features and mirror-bright silver metallic luster!!! The chalcopyrite is present as massive brassy-golden material and there is also some unidentified massive, silvery colored metallic mineral in association as well (there may be some more sperrylite present upon close inspection)!!! There is also some very curious unidentified green material as well!!! Not only is this a fantastic sperrylite specimen - there are some unusual and intruiging associations as well!!! This specimen retains an antique label as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
