Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of sphalerite from Joplin!!! This specimen consists of a dolomite crystal matrix that hosts a striking, single crystal of sphalerite in association with scattered chalcopyrite crystals and numerous tiny crystals of sphalerite!!! The sphalerite crystal is complete and unusually well formed!!! The crystal is complete all around and has sharp, lustrous faces!!! This specimen displays fantastically in person!!!
