Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of sphalerite from the Iron Cap Mine in Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a striking showing of sphalerite and galena perched on a matrix of johannsenite crystals!!! The sphalerite crystals are razor-sharp, brilliantly lustrous, and gemmy - with rich deep greenish yellow color!!! The galena crystals exhibit some highly complex habits and their silvery color provides a smart contrast to the gemmy sphalerite crystals!!! The specimen is in magnificent condition all around - it is simply a killer Iron Cap classic!!! Fine specimens from this closed locale are getting to be quite scarce!!!
