Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely extraordinary example of sphalerite from Franklin!!! This specimen hosts a superb, spinel-twin sphalerite crystal proudly perched in a tiny vug on matrix!!! The crystal is razor-sharp and highly lustrous!!! There are also a few other tiny sphalerite crystals on the specimen as well!!! As far as Franklin sphalerites go, this is an amazing specimen indeed!!! This specimen retains its original Wintringham Collection label, as well as another unattributed, antique handwritten label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
