Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of sphalerite from New Jersey!!! This specimen hosts a striking single crystal of sphalerite in association with prehnite on matrix!!! The sphalerite crystal measures over 3mm and has a deep brownish-gold color with sharp, striated faces and lively play of light within!!! The prehnite crystals are pale green in color and there are also crystals of pumpellyite present as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
