While Lengenbach is known for its wealth of rare species, its sphalerite crystals are equally sought after for their unique form and characteristic gemminess!!! This specimen consists of a classic "Lengenbach" sphalerite - with a stout, modified habit, glassy luster, and gemmy clarity!!! The crystals shows gorgeous deep orange-amber flashes within and has characteristically gemmy clarity when viewed with backlighting!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
