Description/Interesting Notes:

A terrific, old time combination specimen from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a matrix comprised of well-crystallized green diopside that hosts a pair of reddish grossular garnet crystals in addition to olive green crystals of clinozoisite and a single crystal of tan colored sphene!!! The reverse side shows a complex group of clinozoisite crystals and some smaller grossular crystals as well!!! The pictures hardly do this unique specimen justice!!!
