Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of spinel from this seldom referenced historic Franklin locale!!! This specimen consists of a large single crystal of spinel
in association with a small amount of white calcite and a lively orange crystal of norbergite!!! The spinel crystal exhibits
sharp octahedral form with highly complex stepped features on its faces!!! The crystal is in fantastic condition and displays
magnificently all around!!! The norbergite crystal is undamaged and has marked translucence and luster!!! There is an
old, unattributed catalogue number affixed as well!!! OLD material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the
collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and
there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
