An absolutely incredible example of spinel with pargasite from Tanzania!!! This specimen consists of a complex, compound crystal of bright red
spinel in association with an intensely colored green pargasite crystal!!! This specimen was in a small lot of
specimens that represented one individual's year of digging - about 30 or so specimens!!! This was only one of two specimens that had this kind of
incredible association that we have seen here in Tucson!!! The spinel has bright glassy luster, intense color, and is in terrific condition!!! The pargasite
crystal consists of a highly complex, almost skeletal crystal that has exceptional lime green color!!! The pairing of intense colors is absolutely
stunning in person - these pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen is complete and displays way better than the pics show!!! This
is a very unique specimen indeed!!! You don't want to miss out on this one!!!
