Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of blue spinel from this seldom referenced locale!!! This specimen consists of a single, twinned crystal of spinel!!! The crystal is lustrous and complex and has just a very small amount of whitish matrix still attached!!! The color is a wonderful, deep inky blue and the crystal is much gemmier than the pictures show!!! Way better in person!!! The pics hardly do it jutsice!!!
