Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of spinel from this famed New York localiyt!!! This specimen consists of a group of complexly modified spinel crystals prominently perched atop a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals have sharp, lustrous faces and a very dark greenish blue - almost black color!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Classic material!!!
