A historic, old time example of spodumene from Massachusetts!!! This famous old locality produced what were considered to be some of the finest
spodumene crystals of their time in the mid to late 1800's!!! "Norwich Spodumene" specimens were highly sought after and coveted by collectors and
museums alike!!! They were considered to be a must have in any major collection of the period!!! The crystals were known for their sharp
terminations - and this specimen is no exception!!! This specimen consists of a somewhat translucent stack pillar of micaceous crystals that serves as a
pedistal for this sharply terminated spodumene crystal!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and has some old affixed labels as well!!! The
pictures hardly capture just how handsome it is in person!!! A historic New England classic indeed!!!
