Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of stannite from Bolivia!!! This specimen is from a small new find of incredible stannite crystals on this unusual matrix!!! There were just a handful of these specimens available in Tucson and they are all already gone!!! This specimen hosts a highly complex stannite crystal proiminently perched on a matrix of boulangerite and native sulfur!!! The crystal appears to show multiple interpenetration twins!!! In person, one can see oriented, metallic crystal faces (a detail much easier appreciated in person)!!! The crystal is complete, undamaged, and measures nearly 2cm!!! Simply a magnificent example of this uncommon species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
