Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of staurolite with spessartine from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a sharply twinned staurolite crystal that hosts several crystals of red spessartine!!! This specimen exhibits classic twinning and the garnets are unusually pronounced for such combos!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
