Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely marvelous example of stibiconite after stibnite in association with calcite and valentinite from Mexico!!! This specimen
consists of a large, sharp, and pristine crystal of stibiconite replacing stibnite that is partially covered by complex calcite crystals and numerous examples of
rare valentinite as well!!! The stibiconite pseudomorph is sharply terminated and undamaged!!! The crystal exhibits a great range of yellow colors with some
very bright oranges being expressed near the base and included within the calcite crystals!!! The calcite crystals are complex, glassy, and gemmy!!!
The valentinite crystals are present among the calcite crystals and as several lustrous, gray-white "sheets" of crystals along the sides of the stibiconite pseudo!!!
This large and impressive specimen was difficult to capture in the pictures - they don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
