A fantastic example of this rare species from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a complex single crystal of
stibiotantalite!!! This rare species is usually encountered as tiny, poorly formed crystals with big, robust crystals
like this one being quite scarce indeed!!! The crystal has glassy luster and dark brownish color with lively, fiery
amber-brown flashes within!!! Although the crystal is not totally complete, the crystal does have a
sharply defined, beveled termination and displays magnificently in person!!! Rare old time material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
