Stibnite New South Wales, Australia 8.7cm x 2.86cm x 2.65cm Ex. A. E. Foote (label c. 1900-1904)

Description/Interesting Notes: A historic, old time example of stibnite from Australia!!! This specimen consists of a thick, chunky crystal of stibnite in association with a small amount of quartz!!! The crystal has silvery metallic luster with some scattered iridescent highlights!!! The crystal exhibits numerous areas of "bending" that is characteristic of the species!!! This specimen retains an old label from A.E. Foote that dates between 1900-1904!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
