Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique, old time example of stolzite with cuprian scheelite and raspite from Australia!!! This specimen hosts significant areas filled
with small, brilliantly lustrous stolzite crystals in close association with light green cuprian scheelite as well as a few scattered colorless
crystals of raspite!!! While there are some scattered stolzite crystals distributed aross the matrix, there are two significant areas that are
completely filled with contiguous groups of stolzite crystals that are all oriented in the same direction, resulting in a single
broad flash of luster at certain angles!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or a scope, one can see that the stolzite crystals are
razor sharp, brilliantly lustrous, and gemmy!!! The cuprian scheelite is in close association with a group of stolzite crystals making it
appear that the stolzite crystals are green, until they are closely studied!!! Upon close examination one can find several sharp crystals of
colorless raspite to 1.5mm!!! I was not able to capture them in the photos, but they are easy to locate in person (they are just too colorless and
gemmy to capture in the pics)!!! The pictures do not even come close to doing this specimen justice - this specimen must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Rare old time material!!!
