Stolzite on Quartz Cinovec / Zinnwald (Cinvald), Erzgebirge; Krusne Hory Mts, Saxony & Usti Region (Bohemia), Germany & Czech Republic 5.65cm x 4.15cm x 4cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from the type locality!!! This specimen consists of a group of quartz crystals that serves as a matrix for a rich showing of sharp, lustrous stolzite crystals!!! The stolzite crystals are present both as near cubic crystals as well as complex, almost dipyramidal groups of conjoined cubic crystals!!! The crystals have a tan color with marked luster and translucence!!! The stolzite crystals are futher accentuated by the underlying coating of jet-black oxides on the quartz crystal matrix!!!
