Description/Interesting Notes: A superb example of stolzite from California!!! These specimens were initially thought to be scheelite crystals and were identified as such for decades!!! Although they were found in the late 1950's and it wasn't until relatively recently that they were determined to be some of the worlds finest stolzites!!! Today these specimens are scarce and seldom seen on the market!!! This specimen hosts several sharp octahedral crystals in associated matrix!!!
