Stolzite & Raspite Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia 8.46cm x 6.3cm x 4.2cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent combination of these rare and sought after species from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a vuggy matrix that hosts a rich showing of brilliantly lustrous, gemmy orange crystals of stolzite in association with numerous impressive raspite crystals!!! The raspite crystals are sharp and prominent - with a striking group of choice terminated crystals on the main face of the specimen (as well as numerous crystals scattered about the specimen as well)!!! The stolzite crystals range in size to over 6mm and are quite thick and gemmy - with intense yellow orange color!!! The raspite crystals range in size to 4mm and are razor sharp and pristine!!! If one looks around the specimen there are numerous raspite crystals present all over the specimen - as well as numerous other smaller stolzite crystals!!! This is a magnificent example of these rare species - way better than the pics show!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and displays terrifically!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
