Stolzite after Scheelite Darwin, Darwin District, Inyo Co., California 2.42cm x 1.65cm x 1.43cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of stolzite from Darwin!!! This specimen consists of a group of sharp crystals of stolzite after scheelite!!! These old time specimens were once thought to simply be scheelite, however subsequent analysis has shown them to be stolzite!!! Making them some of the most significant examples of stolzite around!!! These specimens are quite scarce today, appearing only in old collections - which is how we acquired this one!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
