Stromeyerite with Chrysocholla and Azurite Las Condes district, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile 5.8cm x 4.35cm x 2.71cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique, old time example of stromeyerite from Chile!!! This specimen consists of a mass of the rare silver-bearing species sromeyerite in association with dark greenish chrysocolla and azurite!!! The stromeyerite is present as massive material distributed throughout the matrix!!! There is a small vug that appears to have been lined with azurite crystals which were subsequently coated with another layer of nearly transparent dark green chrysocolla!!! There are also numerous areas throughout the specimen where there is an unidentified species present as slightly pearlescent, paper-thin sheets or films!!! A unique and unusual specimen indeed!!!
