Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of this uncommon calcite varietal from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of an almost botryoidal cluster of strontian calcite crystals on a thin, darkly colored matrix!!! The ball-like forms are further coated with smaller, sparkling crystals!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen retains an old, large-style label from A.E. Foote dating to the late 1800's as well as an old lable from the Al Sebela collection!!!
