Fluorite Switzerland 8.85cm x 6.54cm x 3cm Ex. Joy Swindell Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of fluorite from Switzerland!!! This specimen came out of an old collection and consists of a HUGE partial crystal of pink fluorite!!! The crystal is largely cleaved on the reverse, while the front retains some scattered areas with complex crystalline features!!! The classic pink color is characteristic and quite handsome in person!!! The crystal has significant areas of fine gemmy clarity!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see a few areas with minute inclusions of chlorite and other characteristic features!!! Although this is not a complete crystal, it is still quite incredible for its sheer size - rarely do you see pink Swiss fluorite crystals anywhere near this size!!! This specimen retains an old, detailed notecard/label with affixed catalogue numbers, etc.!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
