Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of sylvanite from this classic Colorado locale!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of brilliant, silvery metallic sylvanite in association with dark purple fluorite present as a rich network of thick veins scattered throughout the matrix!!! There are numerous areas of crystalline sylvanite all over the specimen with broad and significant crystal faces!!! There are some very rich and impressive masses of sylvanite scattered about as well!!! There is MUCH more sylvanite present than it appears in the pics and the deep purple color of the fluorite makes for a handsome combination as well!!! There is also a vug present that hosts numerous small, razor sharp cubic fluorite crystals in addition to some tiny pyrite crystals and microcrystalline quartz!!! Classic material!!!
