Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of sylvanite from this famous historic locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous areas of metallic sylvanite scattered about its broad face!!! There is significantly more sylvanite present than the pics show - present as smaller grains!!! This specimen retains an old affixed label that notes its exact locality as the Christmas vein, coming from a J.E. Berger in 1905!!! In addition to the affixed label, this specimen retains an old A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum label with William Kelly Collection notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
