Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely incredible example of this rare gold silver telluride from Colorado!!! Let me start off by saying that this specimen is SOO
much better than these pictures convey!!! This specimen hosts free standing, terminated, undamaged sylvanite crystals!!! Sylvanite is usually
found as cleavages, incomplete crystals, or completely embedded in its host rock - specimens like this one with such superb crystallization are nearly impossible
to obtain!!! This specimen hosts both prismatic crystals and highly complex hoppered crystals as well!!! The pictures don't even come close to doing
it justice!!! It needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen retains three old labels - an old Pomona College "Field Collecting label" filled out
for August of 1915 to a collector by the name of Campbell, a Robert Eaton label, and then an original Robert Jenkins Collection label!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
