Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of this rare gold and silver bearing telluride from Fiji (note: this
specimen was relisted because the original listing didn't include pictures of the front, main aspect of the
specimen)!!! This specimen consists of a
quartz crystal-covered matrix that hosts a rich showing of complex, silvery sylvanite crystals!!! This specimen is
WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen host numerous highly complex sylvanite crystals scattered about the
matrix as well as rich showings of massive-crystalline sylvanite on the reverse!!! Upon close inspection one can see
that the crystals are actually quite well formed and exhibit significant thickness!!! Upon close inspection with a
loupe or scope one can see that there are actually terminated crystals and at least one tiny crystal of native
tellurium!!! These are actually thick crystals that are embedded within the matrix, not just simple surface
cleavages as is commonly the case with sylvanite specimens!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen
in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains an
original collection label as well!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer
and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1st!!!
