Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of sylvanite from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of an incredibly rich network of silvery sylvanite crystals in a quartz matrix!!! The broad face of the specimen has been cut and polished to reveal just how densely included with sylvanite this specimen is!!! This specimen weighs a hefty 82g and is likely mostly sylvanite by weight!!! There is a triangle shaped piece of matrix on the back of this thick mass of sylvanite included quartz that actually makes for a natural stand and allows it to display quite handsomely!!! One can see numerous crystals of sylvanite all along the edges of the specimen and on the reverse as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
