Description/Interesting Notes: An exceptional, old time example of this rare gold and silver telluride from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of fantastically well crystallized sylvanite scattered across the matrix!!! The highly complex sylvanite crystals criss-cross the matrix in an aesthetic fashion!!! The crystals have metallic luster and a gorgeous, slightly brassy hue (upon close inspection it appears this could be due to a thin coating of gold in some areas)!!! The crystals are complete and in magnificent condition, with individual crystals ranging to over 7mm!!! The pictures simply couldn't capture just how exceptional this specimen is in person!!! This specimen retains its A.E. Seaman Mineralogical Museum label with J.T. Robertson notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
