Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of sylvanite from this historic Colorado locality!!! This specimen hosts several complex crystals of sylvanite on matrix in addition to numerous submillimeter grains included throughout the matrix!!! The sylvanite has brilliant, silvery metallic luster!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see some complex crystalline features as well!!! There is an old enamel style catalogue number on the reverse as well!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
