Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of sylvanite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts several chunky crystals and masses of brilliant, silvery metallic sylvanite embedded in matrix!!! Upon close examination with a loupe or scope one can see a significant amount of tiny grains of sylvanite and perhaps other tellurides scattered throughout the matrix as well!!! Old material!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains a label with Robbe Collection notation as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
