Szenicsite with Cuprian Powellite Jardinera No. 1 Mine, Inca de Oro, Chanaral Province, Atacama Region, Chile 2.35cm x 1.3cm x 1cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from the type locality in Chile!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown platy crystals of deep green szenicsite in association with yellow green crystals of cuprian powellite!!! There are several free-standing crystals of szenicsite perched in a shallow vug and broad, platy crystals can be seen all around the specimen!!! The cuprian powellite crystals have complex terminations, marked translucence, and much better color than the pictures show!!! The szenicsite crystals have intense green color with flashes of electric green within!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
