Szenicsite with Cuprian Powellite Jardinera No. 1 Mine, Inca de Oro, Chañaral Province, Atacama Region, Chile 1.9cm x 1.25cm x .87cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from the type locality in Chile!!! This specimen consists of a complex group of platy szenicsite crystals that hosts a dense cluster of translucent yellow-green cuprian powellite!!! It almost appears as though the cuprian powellite crystals formed in the hollow outline of an etched pair of intersecting szenicsite plates!!! The szenicsite is lustrous with characteristic deep emerald green color and shows flashes of electric green within!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
