Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from Utah!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of razor-sharp talmessite crystals in association with austinite on a limonitic matrix!!! The talmessite crystals from this locality are exceptional both in terms of their size and sharpness!!! The talmessite is present as clusters of sharp, lustrous crystals often perched on a thin layer of austinite crystals!!! This specimen is just loaded with sharp, significant crystals of talmessite with individual crystals to over 5mm!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and is quite handsome in person!!! This is an exceptional example of the species and the pictures hardly capture just how fine it is!!! This is older material and came out of an old display collection that featured fine, fluorescent specimens (this specimen fluoresces yellow (talmessite) and green (austinite) under SW UV!!!
