This specimen consists of a sharp, gemmy crystal of yellow tanzinte that has faint zone of purple at the base!!! The color is outstanding as far as yellow tanzanites are concerned!!! This crystal is in fantastic condition all around and is WAY better than the pics show!!! This is a rare and valuable gem crystal!!! There are numerous highly complex faces and complexly modified forms - in person these are sharp, brilliantly glassy features!!! This specimen has gorgeous and unique color that is quite dynamic and lively!!! The crystal has fiery play of light within and shows a striking variety of hues and colors through each face as a result of its pronounced pleochroism!!! This specimen is completely natural and has not been heat treated (as most tanzanites are)!!! These true yellow tanzanite crystals are extremely rare and highly sought after!!!
