This specimen consists of a broad plate of intergrown, parallel crystals of tanzanite that exhibit stunning color that ranges from a deep violet purple to an incredible, rich magenta pink!!! What makes this specimen even more aesthetic are the numerous bright, lime green diopside crystals in association!!! There are also some scattered areas of silvery metallic graphite present as well!!! The combination of colors is simply gorgeous in person!!! The tanzanite exhibits marked translucence with sharply defined, brilliantly lustrous crystal faces!!!
