This specimen consists of matrix of complex, intergrown calcite crystals that serves as a matrix for a group of intergrown crystals of tanzanite and a sharp single crystal of laumontite!!! The tanzanite crystals are sharp, glassy, and gemmy with handsome purple-blue color!!! The tanzanite crystals are complete and measure to well over 1.2cm!!! The laumontite crystal has marked luster, sharp faces, and is completely terminated!!! Simply a fantastic combo and rare matrix example of this famed gem species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
