Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely stunning example of this rare species from the type locality!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic cluster of tarbuttite crystals completely covering a limonitic matrix!!! The crystals are large, sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, and pristine!!! Simply a superb example of the species!!! Very lively and dramatic in person!!! (Curiously, there are some unidentified crystals on the sides and reverse, consisting of doubly terminated, tapering hexagonal prisms)!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this valuable specimen justice!!! This specimen retains old labels from Ward's, the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
