Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of these rare tellurides from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of brilliant, tin-white altaite and silvery tellurantimony in addition to some minor golden chalcopyrite, and purplish silver mattagamite!!! One can see the brilliant cleavage faces on the altaite and the tellurantimony is clearly distinguishable buy its different, slightly warmer hue!!! Upon close inspection one can see numerous areas of other related species as well!!! This material is very rich - with numerous large masses and veins visible all around the specimen, and there is much more material present than the pictures show!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label!!!
