2.1" x 1.25" x 1.07"
5.33cm x 3.18cm x 2.71cm
Ex. Robert E. Jenkins II Collection No. 2671
Description/Interesting Notes:
An outstanding example of rare tellurantimony with mattagamite from the type locality in Canada!!! This specimen consists of a very
rich example of brilliantly metallic tellurantimony in association with mattagamite!!! There is a thick layer of crystalline tellurantimony across the top of the specimen and
there are several patches and veins of slightly purplish metallic mattagamite in areas on the matrix!!! There are likely other tellurides, specifically altaite, in association as well!!!
The matrix is loaded with glittering metallic specks!!! Simply a magnificent example of these rare tellurides!!! This specimen needs to be seen in person to be
fully appreciated!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the Jenkins Collection and retains its original label!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
