A terrific example of tetrahedrite from this classic German locality!!! This specimen hosts a cluster of sharp, lustrous crystals of
tetrahedrite on a matrix of siderite!!! The crystals have razor-sharp, complexly modified faces with bright luster!!! There are also
numerous small crystals on the bottom the exhibit the same sharpness and quality!!! Classic material!!!
This specimen came from old material that came from the A.E. Seaman
Museum - the material had not been catalogued but was noted as coming from the German mineralogist B. Klose!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
