Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique example of tennantite from Peru!!! This specimen came out of an older collection and consists of a highly complex, compound crystal of
tetrahedrite!!! The crystal has complex, oriented and stepped faces that nearly cover the face of the specimen!!! The faces are razor-sharp and highly
lustrous!!! In addition, there appear to be older generation tetrahedrite crystals that are altered (to pyrite?) present immbedded in the matrix as well!!! There
are also pyrite crystals on the reverse, a single quartz crystal, some tiny calcite crystals, and a number of other curious features!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must
be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY APRIL 8th!!!
