Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of tetrahedrite from this famous historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a razor-sharp, brilliant single crystal of tetrahedrite proudly perched atop a matrix of massive galena and quartz in association with numerous tiny quartz points, other smaller tetrahedrite crystals, siderite, and a few tiny galena crystals (with the characteristic complex habit unique to the locale!)!!! Simply a gorgeous old time classic!!! This specimen retains old labels from Maucher and D'Esopo!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
