Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of tetrahedrite coated with chalcopyrite from the Herodsfoot Mine!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of tiny quartz crystals that hosts several striking tetrahedrite crystals that have been coated with iridescent golden chalcopyrite in association with complexly modified galena crystals!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition - with the tetrahedrite crystals being completely covered with chalcopyrite!!! Simply a fantastic example of this classic, old time material!!!
