Thalfenisite Oktyabr'skoe Cu-Ni deposit, Noril'sk, Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia .45cm specimen in 1.27cm mount

Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of thalfenisite from the type and only locality!!! This specimen consists of a 4.5mm polished sample in an analytical mount!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope on can see the area of thalfenisite pictured in the photomicrograph!!! There is also a schematic on the back of the photomicrograph that outlines where exactly the thalfenesite is on the specimen (there is almost certainly more than one area of thalfenesite present however)!!! This specimen retains an old label from Forrest Cureton as well!!! Very rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
